Billy Vera is a singer, songwriter, producer, music historian, and quite simply a legend in the industry. Billy and the Beaters had a #1 hit with the song “At This Moment” as fans were clamoring for it after it aired on an episode of the hit TV show, Family Ties. Billy is still going strong today as he came out with a CD in 2012 entitled, “Billy Vera Big Band Jazz” which paid tribute to the black singers and songwriters of the 1920’s, 1930’s, and 1940’s. Billy still performs to this day and has two gigs coming up with one being May 17th at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York and the other being July 12th at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California.
