Week six of the 2014 college football season was as chaotic and memorable as any in recent memory. Five of the top eight teams in the AP poll succumbed to defeat for the first time in history and we may see one of the biggest poll shake-ups of all time later on Sunday.

Biggest Winners

  • The state of Mississippi. Ole Miss knocks off #1 Alabama and Mississippi State manhandled previously unbeaten Texas A&M. Great weekend for the magnolia state.
  • TCU. The Horned Frogs proved a lot to the college football universe as they remain unbeaten after beating Oklahoma 37-33.
  • Kentucky. The Wildcats won its second straight conference game and may actually be a contender in the SEC East after upsetting South Carolina.
  • Katy Perry. The pop singer correctly picked Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Rutgers victories during her appearance on “ESPN College Gameday.”
  • Missouri. What a tremendous week to be ranked and not have to play a football game. The Tigers should move up several spots in the polls after sitting and watching the anarchy unfold on Saturday.

Biggest Losers

  • The College Football Playoff committee. Seriously, good luck.
  • South Carolina. The Gamecocks blew a 20-7 4th quarter lead against Missouri last week and followed it up with a 45-38 loss to Kentucky Saturday night.
  • Pac 12 teams that reside in southern California. USC is beaten on an Arizona State hail-mary and UCLA’s one promising playoff ambitions are snapped by the Utah Utes.
  • Television remotes. Had to take a beating while millions of fans tried to switch back and forth between games to take in all the unhinged action.
  • Wisconsin. AS if the Big 10 needed any additional bad karma, Wisconsin star running back Melvin Gorden rushed for 259 yards in a losing effort to Northwestern.
