An extremely awkward moment occurred last night after the Chiefs 23-20 victory over the New York Jets. NBC’s Rodney Harrison unprofessionally attempted to bait Chris Jones into talking trash about Jets QB Zach Wilson. Jones tried to defuse the situation by praising Wilson’s play and letting Harrison know that the Chiefs “knew it was going to be a battle.”
Jones continued to get agitated while Harrison called Wilson “garbage” and questioned Jones for simply saying Wilson “is getting better.” This was a really bad look for Harrison and props to Chris Jones for staying classy.
