Hey Everyone. My name is Nick “Nutzo” Blackmon. I was born & raised in Annapolis, MD. Right outside of Baltimore. I am a HUGE Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles & Maryland Terrapins fan. I also root for the Washington Wizards & Washington Capitals (D.C. teams I know, but growing up I followed them as they played in Landover, MD), as a kid I also rooted for the Florida Gators (just liked them growing up & love Gatorade. LOL.)
I am here to just introduce myself & my writing style to this page. Hopefully I can bring my passion & honesty about my teams, my love for sports & my opinions (which I express with no problem) to this page. I have seen many things in Sports in my 35 years, and one of my most memorable was on February 3rd, 2013 when I witnessed the Ravens win SB XLVII in New Orleans. The 2nd Super Bowl that I have witnessed my team win. We came up short this year, but it was a hell of a ride. The Orioles made it to the ALCS, before being swept in the series by a Red Hot Kansas City Royals team (the first time the O’ have ever been swept in a Playoff series). The Terrapin football team made it to a Bowl Game, as did Florida. The Terrapin Basketball team is currently ranked # 19th in the country & is coming off of a big win against Indiana last night) the Wizards are one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference (despite a tough loss last night to Toronto). The Wiz are coming off of a 2nd round exit in the Playoffs last year, but we look to advance farther this year. Baseball is just around the corner, and I will be bringing you all the latest Orioles news as well as the Terps as they prepare for the NCAA Tournament, and the Wizards Playoff run.
