While you were sleeping, Askia Booker scored, and scored, and scored, did I mention he scored?

63 games last night and what feels like an impossible task of finding 3 of the best performances to share with you. Not because there weren’t worthy performances, but because there were SO many good ones that I did not know what to do. In my opinion, this is our best SOTN lineup yet!

  • Kris Dunn (Providence) – Dunn was the man yesterday afternoon (This was a makeup game) for the Friars as he went off for 27 pts, 13 rebs, 11 assts, 1 blk and 3 stls in his teams 83-72 victory over DePaul. This is the first triple-double seen on SOTN, but if you go through Dunn’s stats, he is usually pretty dang close to getting on every night that he plays. This kid is a stud and is only a SOPHOMORE! Hopefully he sticks around so we can see more of this!

  •  RJ Hunter (Georgia State) – This coaches son had himself a stat stuffing game yesterday. The ‘6’ junior guard had 32 pts, 5 rebs, 5 assts, 3 blks and 2 stls in the 88-74 win over Texas-Arlington. Hunter has just barely missed SOTN a couple of times this year because of big performances from other players. This kid is a stat sheet stuffer averaging over 20 points per game, 4 rebounds, over 3 assists, and a steal and a block. This kid is going to be an NBA player who will hang around the league for a long time.

  • Askia Booker (Colorado) – I think Booker just scored again……..no, really. This guy was on fire last night in his teams triple overtime thrilling win over USC 98-94. Booker has scored at least 20 points in 4 of his last 5 games, and last night was no different. Booker had 43 pts, 1 reb, 3 assts and 3 stls in the victory. Booker and the Buffalos have now one back to back games, and look to get themselves back onto the Bubble Watch.

Who is your SOTN?
