28 games were played last night, but the defense prevailed in a majority of those games as there were not a ton of big performances. Today we only chose to go with 2 players. Not just anyone can be up for a SOTN. See what you think:
- Justin Moss (Buffalo) – The 6’7 junior forward dominated in his teams 77-71 win over Western Michigan. Moss was a force on both ends with his 23 pts, 10 rebs, 1 asst, 2 blks, 2 stls. He also had a couple of other shots that he did not block, but forced the offensive guy to change his shot. Moss averages almost a double-double on the season and has been really good of late. He needs to continue to play well as his team is getting close to finding their way onto the Bubble Watch.
- Derrick Marks (Boise State) – Mr. Marks has found his way to the SOTN again. He was last on 1/19 and had a nice game in a victory then. Last night, his team got a big resume’ win for their bubble profile. The 82-78 win over Colorado State adds a Top 50 win to their profile, and the Broncos can thank Marks for being a huge reason why. Marks had 28 pts, 3 rebs, 3 assts, and 3 stls in the victory. It took less than 2 weeks to make it on here for the 2nd time, how soon can he make it again?
Who is your SOTN?
