Chiefs fans are likely a bit tired of hearing from opposing fans that the team benefits from “horrible” holding calls at the end of games. Corner Sauce Gardner was called for holding against Chiefs receiver Marques Valdez-Scantling which helped the Chiefs salt the game away and people are losing their minds even though, by the letter of the law, it was a hold. The Jets radio announce team certainly did not handle the call very well on air last night.
The Chiefs are now 3-1 and sitting atop the AFC following the hard-fought victory while the Jets have dropped to 1-3 on the season. It’s clear that the Chiefs have become the team that the rest of America roots against regardless of circumstance and any questionable call will be labeled as “Chiefs privilege”
