Monday’s during the NFL season is always the day for “hot takes” in the national media. However, former Cowboys receiver and current host of ESPN “First Take” Michael Irvin may have taken the cake with his latest rant. The Chiefs offense put up 41 points against a Tampa Bay defense that had allowed just three touchdowns total coming into the game.
The Chiefs offense may have rushed for almost 200 yards against Tampa but that isn’t quite cutting it for Irvin, who is still skeptical about the KC receiving corps without Tyreek Hill.
“Last week they lost to Indy. These guys (the receivers) haven’t shown me yet they can be that consistent. Let me see you put together three or four straight weeks. These guys haven’t shown me I can depend on them more.”
