The nets were barely cut down after Kansasโ NCAA Tournament victory when people began to scream about potential violations and sanctions to come. Right or wrong there does seem to be a bit of a dark cloud hanging over the Kansas program and ESPNโs Seth Greenberg recently spoke out about that and a myriad of other topics.
Greenberg joined hosts Noah Gronniger and Clint Switzer on our very own Elite Sports Podcast on Friday to talk about the Jayhawks, Mizzouโs hiring of Dennis Gates, Eric Musselmanโs surging Razorbacks and more.
Greenberg was dismissive when asked about KUโs impending NCAA punishments.
โI donโt think you should focus on (the violations) it, control your controllables.โ Greenberg said during the interview. โWhat you should focus on is obviously a tremendous season. Iโm not going to speculate on it, I havenโt read all the thousands and thousands of pages that encompass the violations. Those words were strong, you canโt ignore it.
The interview switched focus to yet another season where Gonzaga failed to win the title, Coach Kโs final game, Arkansas becoming a potential juggernaut and Missouris new coach Dennis Gates.
