Former Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu is likely the highest-profile free agent left on the market. Never receiving the contract extension he so coveted from the Chiefs, he hit free agency in hopes of landing a multi-year deal.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Mathieu is visiting the New Orleans Saints today.
Mathieu, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mathieu attended St. Augustine High School, where he played for the St. Augustine Purple Knights high school football team. He recorded 32 tackles, five interceptions, one sack and one fumble recovery as a senior.
