Chiefs training camp 2022 has been chalked full of highlight-reel type of plays and Saturday was no different as 4th year WR Mecole Hardman made the catch of the day in St. Joe. In the video below, you will see Hardman haul in an acrobatic, one-handed catch that delighted the fans in attendance at Missouri Western College.

Hardman, who is entering an all-important contract year could definitely be feeling the pressure this season to emerge as one of the team’s top receiving threats. In the video below, Mecole runs a nice wheel route and soars over corner Lonnie Johnson to make the impressive grab.

In three years as a Chief, Hardman has racked up 1,729 receiving yards on 126 catches. He has also hauled in 12 touchdowns but will look to play a much more significant role with the absence of Tyreek Hill.

The Chiefs seemed to find better ways to use Hardman as the season went on in 2021 with more gadget plays and situations designed to get him into the open field.
