As if Patrick Mahomes could possibly endear himself any further to his legions of fans, Wednesday he may just have found a way to do it. On the heels of GM Brett Veach saying he wanted a new contract for Mahomes prior to the 2023 season, Patrick was asked about this after day three of OTA’s.
Mahomes took the high road and then some as he explained that he’s more worried about his legacy and winning rings than money at this point. A quote that should live on forever is that he said “I’ll never do anything to hurt this team.”
