Chris Jones has been patiently awaiting a healthy contract extension since march. While general manager Brett Veach has assured vans that this is, in fact come in the works, there has been no movement in the process as fans and Jones himself seem to be growing impatient. If you read between the tea leaves, it’s not hard to discern that Jones has delivered a warning to the Chiefs organization as time continues to pass.
Jones took to Instagram on Friday to post a video along with the caption “clock’s ticking” followed by hourglass emojis. It’s clear that Jones is warning the Chiefs brass that he would like to have this done sooner rather than later.
