Things seem to be continuing down a positive path for Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes who seems to defy medicine with his quick healing abilities. After going through walk through’s this morning, Andy Reid told reporters that Mahomes will indeed practice today, even if it’s in a limited capacity.

Mahomes injured his right ankle after being rolled up on by Jaguars DE Arden Key in the first quarter of the Chiefs divisional playoff game against Jacksonville last Saturday. Every indication since that moment is that Patrick is healing and ready to roll for the AFC Championship Game on Sunday at Arrowhead.

“It’s doing good. A few days of treatment and rehab.” Mahomes told reporters. “Excited to get on the practice field and test it out.”
