Joe Montana may have played for both the Chiefs and 49ers during his storied, hall-of-fame career, but we’re pretty sure we know where his loyalties lie. Montana played in San Francisco from 1979-1992 and won four Super Bowls with the Niners. “Cool Joe” is even on hand today at Levi’s Stadium as the Chiefs and 49ers meet for the first time since Super Bowl LIV.

With today being 49ers alumni day, no former player is more welcomed in Santa Clara than Montana who also spoke out about Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes before the game. Kansas City fans will recall Montana playing two years for the Chiefs in ’93 and ’94 as Joe led the team to the AFC Championship game in 1994.
